Righteous Ride Highlight – February 2012

Name: Renee Fell-Vargo

Car: 1974 Chevrolet Nova
Performance Highlights: My father purchased my 1974 Chevy Nova in 1979 from an older lady who was, sadly, losing her sense of sight. At the time, it was in mint condition with only 20,000 miles. He kept it and gave it to me as a high school graduation present. Much to his shagrin, I decided to invest all my savings to restoring it. After all the years he kept it, it needed some body repair and paint. To this day he still says I need to “sell that car”! I tell him I just can’t let it go since it has so much sentimental value being a gift from him. It has a 250 straight V6, with now 150,000 miles, and still running great!

Righteous Ride Showcase: Italian Superpower

Last month we featured a Classic Cadillac, one of the many joys in Joe Ziker’s life. This month we thought you’d enjoy learning about a brand new Righteous Ride that hasn’t even hit the streets yet. The all new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta will make it’s debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. With a reported 740 HP V12 engine, 0-62 in 3.1 seconds, and top speed over 211 MPH, this new Ferrari definitely fits the bill as a Righteous Ride!

One of the potential drawbacks for a large uniform wearer like BCI to make a switch is the potential for a difficult transition period. Often times this painful process is enough to prevent them from changing. But at Ziker Uniforms we work hard to make this transition as seamless as possible. And because of our hard work, BCI made several comments how impressed they were with not only our transition process but how much of the work Ziker employees handled.

One of those employees is Tim Cossey who will be the Route Service Rep (RSR) for BCI. Tim has been with Ziker Uniforms for 7 years and has what it takes to meet the weekly uniform needs for BCI and all his customers. Please take a minute to read a little about Tim below.

Spencer McCaslin has joined Ziker Uniforms as Uniform Sales Representative serving North Central Indiana, including the South Bend area and Southwest lower Michigan. Spencer previously worked with Verizon Wireless and Brandeis Machinery in their sales departments. Spencer’s entire business career has been focused on business to business consultive selling. Spencer truly enjoys helping other businesses with their challenges by providing cost effective, unique solutions.  He has a Bachelor Degree from Ball State.

Cheryl and David Ziker attended the 2011 TRSA Convention in Scottsdale AZ this past October. The annual event boasts over 300 Uniform Rental industry owners, managers, vendors/suppliers, and industry experts.  The convention was held to educate, share, and network with others in our industry.

Here is what David Ziker had to say about this years event: “The TRSA convention was extremely informative.  It is very interesting to learn about our uniform industry from it’s legislative and political happenings outside the day to day activity we operate under.  I have a deeper understanding of the issues our industry faces, and that is very helpful!“
